Elephant Under the Rug is a college based social experiment designed to create conversation amongst different social groups. Many of the misconceptions we have about one another are due to lack of communication and inability to confront what makes us uncomfortable or curious. Elephant Under the Rug aims to dispel those misconceptions by asking students “What is something you’ve always wanted to know about a person, group, race, or culture?” Once I compile these questions, forum will be held where people can have their questions answered. The purpose of this campaign is to remove the elephants in the room and uncover what’s swept under the rug.
